Cannabis oil, embracing change and Autumn HEALTH TIPS!!!

As the seasons change so do we. To live a wholesome life we need to be constantly growing, changing and evolving. Our skin replaces itself every 35 days, the liver completely regenerates every 6 weeks!! Consciousness and self awareness allow layers of the psyche to be explored and belief patterns to be rebuilt with every single thought!!!

Over the last four weeks we have observed a paradigm of vast growth. To name a few discoveries, there have been the latest findings on Mars and research advances for the use of cannabis oil for medicinal benefit. A current Harvard study suggests that 3 out of 4 doctors now advocate the use of Cannabis in a vaporizer as medicine.

The World health organization has finally proven that processed foods such as bacon, coca cola and hotdogs are as likely to cause cancer as cigarettes! To add to this, the number of people choosing conscientious healthy lifestyle choices has skyrocketed.

These transformative discoveries and shifts in awareness may be standard to normal evolution, a magical astrological shift, or quite simply the world ‘waking up’.

However, alongside these breakthroughs we can’t ignore that there is also an increased amount of destruction, with the refugee crisis, continuous wars, natural disasters as well as personal struggles. If you are an empath you may feel others suffering directly and news of constant global struggles can leave you feeling completely hopeless.  Here is a quote by the Taoist master Lao Tzu, a great example of how you can be the change that you want to see in the world.

“If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself, if you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.”

Another positive way to embrace change is to understand that destruction and creation go hand in hand. Forests burn down to regenerate new life. The heat from the burning trees of a forest fire pops open the cones, releasing seeds that have been waiting to be released for years.

Change is the only constant. Nature demonstrates this perfectly as the leaves fall, colours change and the climate cools! 


Top tips to stay healthy as we enter into the cooler months:


  1. Attend a weekly meditation, yoga or qigong class to slow down, de-stress and stay grounded.


  1. Eat seasonally: by eating local seasonal food, nature provides everything that we need for proper immune support, nervous system function and temperature regulation as the months get cooler.

  1. Get lots of hugs!! Cuddles increase oxytocin, the feel good hormone that is released in orgasm! This boosts mood and increases circulation!!


  1. Walk outside, suck up the last of the vitamin D from the sun for an immune boost and mood enhancer. A walk outside between the hours of 1-3pm are best for Vitamin D absorption


5. Slow cook!! Autumn is a time to wind down, energy expenditure naturally reduces and even digestion begins to slow down. By preparing your soup, stews, curry or even a roast dinner in a slow cooker you pre-digest all of the goodness.  This makes it easy for the digestive tract to absorb all of the nutrients.
